got style?
Usually, we don't use any disposal diapers at all...
However, we have to put them on Milo temporally because of his diaper rash...
So...
might as well, we put the cool one!
!!!Jean Diaper!!!
When Milo was feeling it, his mama had to rewash and refold all his diapers.
87 diapers!
Sometime, using cloth diapers is a pain,
but this is something that a mama (and a papa!) can do for the mama earth (and papa earth?)
Next Step
Milo has been a master of "roll over", which is too fast to let me capture...
Now is the time he steps it up to the next stage - sitting.
So far, he is doing pretty good
most of the time...
(see the last post, below)
Also, I took him to see his doctor for a check up last week and weighed him.
As of June 24th (5 months and 11 days old), he was 18lb12 oz (8512kg)!
Yes, he is a big boy!!
Reading Time
Milo had his favorite book in his hand,
so I asked him if he wanted me to read for him.
Milo: Come on mamma, I'm old enough to read a book by myself. Shoo, shoo.
So he started reading it by himself
and enjoyed it.
until this moment...
GRAVITY ATTACK!
So, he decided to eat his toe instead...
Good job, Milo!

Milo's 1st Camping Trip - 1
On June 15 -16, we took Milo to white river for camping.
Since this was his 1st camping trip, we decided to do easy camping: a designated campsite, warm camping, lots of blankets for cozy sleeping, easy cooking etc...
Oh, should I have said that we were supposed to do so!?
It ended up having lots of OOPS...
1) Boy scout no.1 motto... "Be Prepared!" so we put everything together for Milo
including an extra blanket!!!
... and we forgot to pack our sleeping bags...
oops...
2) We went to Fred Meyer and bought 2 sleeping bags... cheapest ones at $14.99...
Their temperature rating was 40 degree! When we got at the campsite before the sunset, it was already 40 degree!!! Imagine how cold it got at night!!!
oops...
3) We picked a campsite next to white river. On the map, it looked like that the campsite could be accessable from both side of the river. So, we took one of the routes and we ended up driving on this:
It's hard to tell by the pictures, but the path was really steep and narrow. There were so many unstable rocks, and we seriously thought that the car would be flipped over...
Oh, the gate at the entrance of this path, was kinda halfway open...
oops...
4) Finally we got to the river!!!!
and found out the campsite was on the other side of the river...
Yes, on the other side of this...
.
.
Anyway, we were there, so we decided to camp there...
Nice set up, huh!?
Before we left our house, we discussed what was the best way to keep Milo, who cannot sit by his own, at the campground. This was our best bet:
An instant crib/play bin!!!
It worked great... (did not look great, though...)
We got fire :-) One of the best parts of camping.

Milo's 1st Camping Trip - 2
Good morning from the tent!
The 2nd day was really nice, and Milo was just so happy.
He even did yoga! What a nice boy...
This is how silas cooked.
This is how Yuri cooked... cheese buns in the stick...
Oh where was Milo??
Yes, he was in the plastic bin!!!
By the way, lately, he has had lots of facial expressions, and he is super super cute!
After the fun hanging out at the campsite under the morning sun, we had to drive back on the dangerous path...
First of all, the most important thing was Milo's safety, so we decided that Silas would drive by himself and Yuri would hike back with Milo and Kip.
Silas was thinking how he would get out from the car if it flipped over...
Yuri was thinking how she would ask for some help if something bad happened. She secretly packed a survival kit in her back pack too.
Also, both Silas and Yuri were thinking about their life insurance...
They hugged and said bye to each other, and Silas drove off...
(It was kinda dramatic!)
5 minutes later...
Yuri realized how beautiful the hike was and took some pictures...

Milo's 1st Camping Trip - 3
After we left the campsite, we drove toward to Mt hood
(we love this mountain!)
and we went to fishing!
Papa fisher...
and mama fisher...
Silas was supposed to have fished only from safe spots because of Milo's safety...
and mama found them right here:
but he caught a fish there...
3 boys were looking for a fish all together...
Kip navigated us to the the trailhead...
After the fishing, we drove back home on the beautiful road.
This was just beginning of lots of our up coming camping trips, and we are so happy to take all those adventures (prepared and unprepared) with Milo.
To be continued... to our future:)
