summer festival/picnic

Milo had a summer festival/picnic

with his friends from the Japanese play group.

It was more likely a picnic but Yuri couldn't stop wearing

the Japanese traditional festival outfit (plus baby in the baby carrier).

And...

The babies wore "Jinbei," a kind of Japanese traditional summer clothing.

They were so cute playing together in Jinbei.

Lucius and Milo were stealing somebody's snacks...

Milo also got a new friend, Akira.

We could tell that Milo was so happy to hang out with him.

The Bite of Oregon

We forgot to post this for a while, but we went to the bite of Oregon 2 weekends ago.

Silas and Yuri thought Milo might enjoy all local foods.

Therefore, they decided to check it out all for Milo, yes all for Milo...

Oh my god...

We had the best pork slider ever!!!!

finally...

After almost a year of car sharing with Silas (thank you!), Yuri bought a car!!

She spent all her money she had saved in Chicago for this car

in order to take Milo to soccer practices or ballet lessons...

What a sweet mother!

One day, each of us received sweet gifts...

Milo got this pewter cup with his name on from great grandma Sally.

He seemed to really like it.

Silas received these "congrats" flowers from Yuri's parents.

Today was Milo's debut to a sand box.

He wanted to eat every single rock in it so bad...

We wish we lived closer...

We will visit you guys in the fall.

Florence Trip 1

August 10th was Silas & Yuri's 5 years anniversary,

so we went to Florence OR to cerebrate it.

We rent this cabin:

and it came with this dock and boat!!!!!!!!!
