We were glad to see that

Charlie and Milo were very good at sharing and played together nicely.

By the way...

yesterday, Charlie was wearing lots of red, while Milo was wearing blue.

Today, Charlie was wearing navy with white stripes,

while Milo was wearing white with navy stripes.

They always had quite nice contrast!

On the beach, we saw the cutest thing happened!

Manzanita beach

Sally and Charlie invited us to their vacation rental in Manzanita.

Sally was so ready to have a baby and kept warning us she was feeling it :)

It was such a gorgeous summer day, but the beach was very windy and chill.

Milo cared??

No!

Soon after Milo saw water, he started running toward it,

and got in.

He became soaking wet, so he had o change his pants.

Soon after he changed his pants...

He took off again...

And this happened again...

It was all good as long as he had a good time, though.

After Milo became pants-free (he did not have any more change,)

Milo showed Charlie how to make bubbles.

This was Charlie who was saying "all bubbles are gone!"

Charlie and Milo played together pretty well.

Actually this was the picture of them enjoying a tug of war, not fighting over the bucket.

(they were both smiling and making happy noises)

simply because it's his play time, not the time to clean himself.

mama's Saturday

Mama had such a precious Saturday.

She did nothing except hanging out with those 2 boys under sunshine.

Even so, she felt so special and got a feeling of well-being.

Having a non-special day with special people (and dogs) is the happiest thing.

We are always so glad that Milo has grown up with the perfect dog.

Portland Symphony

We went to Lake Oswego for the outdoor concert of Portland symphony.

Unlike the other park concerts we went to, the audiences were older and quieter.

However, Milo was being who he is,  running around, saying hi to everybody, 

chasing after some dogs, and running away from his mom.

At the end of each play, he clapped his hands no matter where he was at.

Their last play was kids' involved music, and Milo got a recorder to play together.

(although he did not need to put it into his mouth that much...)

Aki and Milo were so stoked to play the recorder.

Then, Milo found Lucius's disk

and shakes it like a maracas

It was nice to see Ayumi and Saori, who we have not seen for a while!

It was another fun summer evening activity!
