Opal Creek Camping Trip - Day 2
The next day, we spent our most of the day at the river.
Look at this water quality!
this was the river right below our campsite.
Our boys enjoyed their morning at the river.
Then, we moved back this spot we checked last night.
This place had beautiful water falls and some deep pools,
which means to be a perfect fishing spot!
First Silas got 6 fishes out of his 8 casts or so...
then Yuri got one too.
How about our up-and-coming fisherman!?
Taaaaaaaaa daaaaaaaaa-------
At the age of 2 1/2, Milo caught his first fish!!!!!!!
Milo was excited, but at the same time, he was a little afraid of touching it.
Then, soon after that, he got another one.
Oh, he is so natural (by his parents' eyes...)
And the third one!!!!!
He is our star rookie!!!!!
Milo made his parents so proud of him,
and more than that...
they were so happy to see Milo really enjoying fishing and being in nature.
I mean...
who won't be happy here, right?
After Milo done fishing,
he played with the boat Silas made,
and played more.
What a great day!

Opal Creek Camping Trip - Day 1
Yey, yey, it's the family camping day!
We were originally planing to do a beach camping,
but at the last minutes, we changed our destination due to the weather forecast.
Our new destination was...
Opal Creek!
They had breathtaking water ... crystal clear!
It was a part of Willamette National Forest,
so we could do camping outside of designated campsite
(that's what we usually love more!)
After driving around so many possible campsites,
we decided to set our camp here:
It was pretty quiet and cozy campsite with a big nice fire pit.
Of course, we had our private river access,
and we could spend our precious evening time there.
Oh, we love camping!
By the way...
as you might be able to see the photos above,
our campsite did not have a perfect flat ground for our tent,
so we all slid down to one side while we were sleeping ;)

Lewis River
We went to Lewis River in Washington for some family fun.
Our original plan was hanging out around the waterfalls,
but it was kinda dangerous to be around them
with wild Milo and Kip.
So we moved to quiet river area,
which was actually really really nice.
We had some snacks under sunshine,
and played in the water under sunshine!
Silas just got back and had such a wonderful "son and father" reunion moments.
