Everyday; their news made me so sad and depressed.

Japan

As you know, the terrible disasters happened (and are still happening) in Japan.

Thank you so much for many people caring about our family and friends there.

I would like to use this blog to let you know that I was finally able to talk to my family and they were all safe.

It is really sad to see my beautiful country has been destroyed and many many people died and lost their homes. There are still lots of after shocks, and power and gas are down in many areas. There are still many people are missing or waiting for helps.

Please keep praying for them and wishing their safety.

Thank you again for all your phone calls, e-mails, text messages, and thoughts.

2 Babies + 2 Papas

This is Milo's friend, Lucius and his Papa Caleb.

They had a quite interesting conversation together.　

Lucius: Hey Milo. Did you try the cupcakes over there? Let's go to get them.

Milo: Hold on. I am playing "red light green light" now.

Lucius: Our mammas have had 3 already, so they should be yummy.

Milo: Wahhhhhhhh, I lost. I was on the red light!

Lucius: Booooooring...

Milo: Don't move, don't move. I am on red light...

Lucius: Picture time!

Milo: Ahhhhhhh, Green light green light!!!!!!!!!

We cannot wait to go camping together in this summer, Lucius!

☆マイロが上でやっていた、"レッドライト、グリーンライト"は、日本の"だるまさんが転んだ"事。

単純に、赤信号の時は動いちゃいけなくて、青信号の時は動いていいというもの。

USA vs JAPAN

Today, Milo received his American birth certificate and registered for Japanese citizenship. His American name is "Milo Juka Baxter-Neal", and his Japanese name is
"河野マイロ (Kawano Milo)". His mom can teach him Japanese, and his dad will learn English with him... Good luck Milo and Silas :)

今日、マイロはアメリカの出生証明書をゲットし、日本の出生届を提出しました。アメリカの名前は、マイロ・ジュカ・バクスターニールですが、日本名は河野マイロとしました。

(ちなみに、名前に込められた意味としては"マイロ＝真彩"と"ジュカ＝樹香"です。)

マイロのママが今後、日本語を教え、パパはマイロと一緒に英語を勉強していく予定です。マイロ、サイラス頑張って。
