hello Momo

Eric G stopped by Portland on the way back to LA,

so we could meet Momo, his new baby girl.

Compared with Momo, Milo and Keena looked pretty big!

They came to our house too.
Milo was so sweet to her.

Our house was filled with happy baby energy.

school camping

We went to the school camping to Rabb campground.

It was nice to see Milo's old classmate, Liliy who loved Keena.

And played with all the old and new friends.

The children played their own imagination play a lot.

Even after the most families left,
we stayed there longer and played with Gus and Daria.

They had biiiiiig smiles on their faces.

Before we left the campground, we took some photos of M&K.

They are growing so fast...

first day of school

Today was Milo's first day of school, year of 2015!

We took the first day photos, but they were just too cute.

Like last year, we hiked to the school from the nature center in Tryon Park,
and fed the goats at the school.

Then the children had a story circle time and learned about the school rules.

Keena explored the property too.

After the school, we had a picnic and hiked back to the nature center.
We stopped by the nature center and played.
While those two were reading some books,

Yuri leaned how to make the cool origami boat

from George!

We wish all the best for your new school year, Milo!

Berkeley park

We went to Berkeley park with Aki and Ayumi.
This was Keena's favorite and kept saying "mine!" which has been her favorite word.

Milo and Aki were non-stop moving, being so wild.
It was hard to see but both of them were on Ayumi in the photo...

good night

marshal park

We went to Marshal Park.
What did we do there?

Milo made a beaver dam.

Keena washed her shoes, oh I meant herself.

And Kip was waiting to go for a walk us patiently.

Milo climbed up the steep hill and found rocks looked like a chair.
He called them a "throne" and sat on it.

It was actually, really high and steep!
