Another mission in Japan was Yuri's "hometown design" event in Tokushima.

We decided to have some family 753 photo session with all cousins.

753 ceremony

One of the biggest reasons we went Japan this year was

to do Milo and Keena's 7-5-3 (shichi-go-san) ceremony.

Shichi-Go-San  is a traditional rite of passage and festival day in Japan

for 3 and 7 years old girls and three- and five-year-old boys

to celebrate the growth and well-being of young children.

We all dressed in the traditional Japanese outfits

and went to th eneighborhood shinto shrine to have the ceremony.
