christmas tree shopping

On a beautiful winter sunny day,

we came out to Sauvie Island for Christmas Tree shopping

with Baba Rita.

We bought a christmas tree last year in the evening,

and could not tell that the tree was spray painted green (no joke!)

Therefore, we decided to cut our own this year.

We spent quite awhile trying to find perfect trees

and marked some of our favorites.

Milo was so hyped to find one too

in his gnome suite.

To find the one, he felt the needles

and tasted them.

Then, he found one, which was perfectly his size :-)

But, it was a little too small,

so Milo's parents picked another one and cut it.

Milo was really curious

and he gazed at what Silas was doing

an got so excited!

Silas cut the second one...

and we were ready to go!
