We took a family hot springs trip to Mt Fuji,
the highest and the most beautiful mountain in Japan.
Before we checked in our Ryokan (Japanese style hotel),
we stopped by the "Healing Village Nenba (Iyashinosato Nenba),"
closed to the South Lake at the bottom of Mt. Fuji.
This village is a reconstruction of what was known
as the most beautiful group of "Kayabuki" (thatched-roof) houses in Japan.
In this village,
you can find some participation type activities based on traditional life style
and enjoy seeing various art and craft products based on traditional culture.
Simply, the village was full of breathtaking scenery,
and we all spent some precious family time there.
Now we are ready to soak in the hot spring!
