We had so much fun on the second day in La Pine.
Milo's morning started with the neighbor's swing,
his fishing pole,
the canoe,
and a bear(ish) pankake.
After the breakfast we went back the river.
Silas got this.
Milo wanted to go swimming, but the water was still way too cold.
So, Milo got on his boat, and Silas had to push him...
We had a snack break,
and got in the car to have more fun.
We saw the three sisters mountains,
and arrived Newberry National Volcanic Monument.
First we went to East Lake.
Then, we went to the obsidian flow.
Those obsidian looked incredible!
We hiked up and up...
There were still snow around, and Milo was so excited to stand on it.
Oh, actually, Kip was more stoked!
Ok, almost the top.
Yeeeeeeeey, we made it to the top!
(It was only 1 mile hike... haha.)
This was the view from the top.
Pretty good, huh?
We also went to a short hike around Paulina Lake.
Our fun did not end there...
After we got back the cabin, we went back the river for more canoeing and fishing.
Finally, our fun was ended with hanging out around the fire...
What a day!
We all slept very well :)
