It was over 80 degree in Portland, so we decided to take a hike to Mirror Lake.
Even around the trailhead, it was almost 80 degree.
Summer was here!
The trail was 3.2 mile roundtrip, so it supposed to be a quick an easy hike.
However, with Milo, there were much more adventures than just walking on the trail.
He played with snow on the ground,
and threw snow balls at his parents.
He slid on the rock,
and had breaks on the trunks.
And there were so many rocks to play with.
On the other hand, Keena was so calm and peaceful in the carrier.
We were excited to play in the water once we got to the lake
but without knowing….
the lake was still frozen!!!!!!!
There was lots of snow on the trail too.
A lot!!!
Kip knew how to cool himself down on such a hot day.
Or, he simply missed snow...
Anyway, cheeeeeeeeeese!
Look at this stunning view!
Oh, we love Mt. Hood!!!!!
So, cheeeeeeeeeeeese again.
Milo did not care that the lake was frozen,
and he still played in the water.
He acted tired on the uphills to get to the lake,
at the lake, he had so much energy to play and did not want to leave.
As a result, he got this dirty butt!
But we all had a great and refreshing day escaping from the hot hot day in the city.
Ok, its time to hike back.
