I, Yuri and my friend Sakiko organized the urban camp in St. John's.
we hosted about 40 japanese campers as one of our "LIFE sampling" projects.
At the FARM, we provided several different activities including:
making the cob oven, cooking camp food, berry picking,
socializing, playing in the hay pool, reading (by Rita), live music, campfire,
sleeping in several different accommodation options
(vintage cabins, airstream, trailer, military tent, and school bus!),
morning yoga in the park, and discussion about Portland.
They were crazy bust and got so tired (especially because they could not sleep for a while),
but it was so nice to see and hear everybody had a great time.
They received even better feedback from they had expected!
Yay!!
Thank you for everybody who supported us.
I might post more report later once we organized the photos.
