Happy 1 Month Birthday
Before Milo was born, we had made fun of some parents who:
1) put their kids in animal looking outfits
2) take over 100 pictures of their kids in a day
3) celebrate their kids birthday every month (or even week)
4) prepare for a birthday pie although their kids cannot eat yet (on the monthly birthday)
5) wrote a birthday card although their kids cannot read yet (on the monthly birthday)
Yes, now we are one of them...
マイロが産まれる前、私たちはこんなことをする親にはなりたくないと思っていました。
１）子供に着ぐるみのような服を着せる。
２）一日に100枚以上の写真を撮る。
３）誕生日を毎月お祝いする。毎週のこともあり。
４）子供はまだ食べれないのに誕生日ケーキを用意する。しかも、月のお祝いの時。
５）子供はまだ読めもしないのに、誕生日カードを用意する。しかも、これまた月のお祝い時。
しかし、気が付けば、そんな親になっていました・・・

Thank You, Sachi Baba!!!
Last Thursday, Sachi Baba ("baba" is "grandma" in Japanese) went back to Japan after her great support for the last 3 weeks. She cooked amazing Japanese food, cleaned the house, and washed diapers. Also, she sang lots of songs for Milo and cheered us up all the time.
We deeply thank her... We will miss you!
先週の木曜日、幸ばばは日本へ帰ってしまいました。滞在中、料理、掃除、洗濯など三週間たくさん助けてくれました。そして、マイロにたくさん日本の歌を歌って聞かせ、私たちをいつも励ましてくれました。本当に、ありがとう。居なくなると、寂しくなるよ。
By the way, we have noticed that Japanese Baba and American Baba are the same size :)

ところで、ふと気付いたのですが、日本のばばと、アメリカのばばは同じサイズのようです。
どっちのばばも大好きだよ。

3rd Week of Milo
Milo is growing up much faster than our blog updates... Here are some pictures from his 3rd week.
This is Milo and Yuri's 1st day out since his birth.
We love his penguin outfit.
And, he loves his car seat - knock on wood!
Jay and Leland came to visit us.
This was his first bath time.
Which means that was his parent's first time to give him a bath.
- Look at how serious they were!
We also went to a walk all together too.
