birthday party

We got invited to a birthday party on October 22nd
for a baby who was born on October 24th...

Here is...
Birthday Boy Lucius!
Happy 1st Birthday!!!

Saori, you did an amazing job for the last a year.
so, Happy 1st Anniversary as an amazing mom!!!

The party was held at the Caleb's office with lots of fun toys and delicious food.
Silas taught Milo how to blow the horn
Milo practiced over and over
and decided just to eat it...
Milo played so hard
here
and there
He chewed lots of the toys and decorations...
He seemed to enjoyed the party a lot.
At the party, there were Milo's friends too.
Here are some of them...

Aki chan
Aya chan
Ken chan
Ryu kun
Haru Kun
The Baxter-Neal's had such a relaxed and fun time there.
(did we relax too much!?)
Thank you for having us
and providing us such a comfortable party!

Pumpkin Patch

Oct 18 - 2 weeks before the Halloween
We decided to go Sauvie's Island for Pumpkin Patch.

It was such a gorgeous fall day, and we enjoyed
pumpkin picking, hayrides, livestock barn, and lots of photo session.
Why were babies with pumpkins way too cute!?

Chinook Salmon

Yuri gave Silas a guided fishing trip for his birthday,
so, on Oct 16, they went to salmon fishing at Tillamook Bay.
Go, Silas!
OMG...
Look what Yuri got!!!
A Dinner!
Oh... whose birthday gift was this???

This was the fist time for Milo stay away from his parent for 10 hours (!),
but he was such a good boy with his grandma. Thank you;-)

home sweet home

It is nice to be back home.
Those two missed each other...

Redwood National Forest

We kept driving north and headed back to Oregon.
Milo helped driving as well.
Of course, we got a break (and fished) at the river.
Of Course, Milo tried to taste the rocks and leaves.
Oops...
Then, as the final destination of this trip,
we went to Redwood National Forest and took a short hike.
Look at this...
Giant!
Even bigger!!
This place was magical.
As Milo's parent, Silas and Yuri want Milo to be a person like redwood trees;
strong, straight, and magnanimous...

This had been their wish even since the time Milo was still in his mama's belly.
Therefore, it was something for them all to be there together.
Thank you Redwood...

Ok, it's time to go home...

The rest of the Bay Area

On the final day in SF, Silas and Yuri took a date
(with Milo)
and had this S'mores Sundae:

it was pretty intense!
Milo liked his giraffe toy too much to care about the sweets...
Once we got a sugar high, we left SF
(why is it so foggy!? - hehe)
to get to Santa Rosa.
We stayed at Josh's house and hung out with him and Mariella.
On the next day, we drove to here...
our old house!!!!
After spying our old neighborhood, we stopped by Marmot, Yuri's old work.
Then we went to visit the Gabberman's house/farm in Sebastopol
We had not seen Brian's house in a few years and he has done a lot of work.
He gave us a cutting of this tree collard to bring home for our garden.
He had lots of chickens a few ducks and 2 turkeys
(the turkeys will be around only another month)
Bird (dog) is all grown up and has a similar hairdo as Milo
Thanks for showing us your farm and it was great visiting with you and your family!
