Milo's new skills

We witnessed Milo's new skills in last 2 days,
and luckily we could film them.

On September 26, he started to clap his hands:

another one:

On September 27, he started to come down from our bed on his own:
(we did not teach him anything, but he figured out how to do it)

We are so proud of you!

Is this why he is acting like this?

Sandy Delta

Last week, we went to Sandy Delta.
It is where Columbia river and sandy river meet,
we enjoyed last minutes Oregon sunshine.
This park was super dog friendly,
and every single parson we saw on the park had a dog or dogs.
Kip really liked it and enjoyed water.
Milo enjoyed water too.
Mama might have enjoyed more than Milo.
Milo and Papa bounded stronger
although Milo has some attitude...
Yay, we found another cool spots.

baby tooth update

yes, it is growing:)

by the way...
Milo's eyes are still blueish grey!

Hidden Lake

We hiked to a Hidden Lake yesterday.
It was 2 miles in (mostly uphill) + 2 miles out (mostly downhill), a beautiful hike.
It is part of Mt Hood wildness area.
Our guide for the day was:

SBN

This is the Hidden Lake
Those giant mushrooms welcomed us.
As always,
Milo was so stoked to be in the wild.
He practiced standing up with this moss-covered rock.
He rocked!
He played with wood sticks and dirts
Of course, he cruised around
and got dirty!
Mama finally caught a fish, a little one...
After all of us enjoyed the wild things, we hiked back

Yay, it was fun;-)

hello baby tooth!

On September 15, Yuri noticed that Milo cut his first baby tooth.
It was still a "tiny while hard thing" showing at his bottom gum,
but this was his another stepping up!
Yuri was so so excited about that
and made an "emergency" call to Canada to let Silas know...
It has been way too difficult to take its photo, but we will post this for his record :-)

8 months

A day before Milo's 8 month birthday, he went to his 8 month check up.

As of September 12...

Weight: 21lb 3oz (9619g) - 80%
Height: 28 3/4" (73cm) - 80%
Head: 17 3/4" (45cm) - 70%

His doctor said he is a healthy and super active baby without any problem.
Go Milo!

At Milo's bedtime in the evening of his 8 month birthday,
he decided to have a pajama (birthday) party without his parents' permission.

Milo: "what? what permission?"
Then, he showed off everything he has been able to do and has been into lately.
1) crawling - getting faster and faster
2) standing up with supports
3) climbing up the bed and stairs
4) playing by himself
5) eating some fishes (real fishes too)
6) being up to something...... troubles!
look at this face!!
Every single day, we feel so happy to have him in our lives.
