Three Pools

It was getting hot,
so we done fishing and tore our camp down.
Then, we went to Three Pools for more fun.
Since the place of the picture below was too high and not pretty safe...

we played at the beach area

and in the water!

Fun Fun Fun!

feeding Kip

When we went back our campsite for cleaning up,
Milo started making a "pancake" to feed kip just like this:

Opal Creek Camping Trip - Day 2

The next day, we spent our most of the day at the river.
Look at this water quality!

this was the river right below our campsite.

Our boys enjoyed their morning at the river.

Then, we moved back this spot we checked last night.
This place had beautiful water falls and some deep pools,
which means to be a perfect fishing spot!

First Silas got 6 fishes out of his 8 casts or so...

then Yuri got one too.

How about our up-and-coming fisherman!?

Taaaaaaaaa daaaaaaaaa-------
At the age of 2 1/2, Milo caught his first fish!!!!!!!

Milo was excited, but at the same time, he was a little afraid of touching it.

Then, soon after that, he got another one.
Oh, he is so natural (by his parents' eyes...)

And the third one!!!!!
He is our star rookie!!!!!

Milo made his parents so proud of him,
and more than that...
they were so happy to see Milo really enjoying fishing and being in nature.

I mean...
who won't be happy here, right?

After Milo done fishing,
he played with the boat Silas made,

and played more.

What a great day!

Opal Creek Camping Trip - Day 1

Yey, yey, it's the family camping day!
We were originally planing to do a beach camping,
but at the last minutes, we changed our destination due to the weather forecast.
Our new destination was...
Opal Creek!
They had breathtaking water ...  crystal clear!

It was a part of Willamette National Forest,
so we could do camping outside of designated campsite
(that's what we usually love more!)

After driving around so many possible campsites,
we decided to set our camp here:

It was pretty quiet and cozy campsite with a big nice fire pit.

Of course, we had our private river access,
and we could spend our precious evening time there.

Oh, we love camping!

By the way...
as you might be able to see the photos above,
our campsite did not have a perfect flat ground for our tent,
so we all slid down to one side while we were sleeping ;)

boys fun day

Silas took care of Milo today.
They went to Marshal park for a morning walk

and had a playdate with tio Leland.

The park had the special gym set up,
and Milo seemed to enjoy playing with them and tumbling around!

Lewis River

We went to Lewis River in Washington for some family fun.
Our original plan was hanging out around the waterfalls,
but it was kinda dangerous to be around them
with wild Milo and Kip.

So we moved to quiet river area,
which was actually really really nice.

We had some snacks under sunshine,

and played in the water under sunshine!

Silas just got back and had such a wonderful "son and father" reunion moments.

papa's back

Silas cam home last night
and Milo enjoyed spending time with him in our yard this morning.

oaks park with Aki

Milo went to Oaks Park with Aki.

They got the bracelet, which they could take all rides with,
and got on many rides over and over.

It was a very hot day,
and the snow corn (without syrup) was their favorit!

Milo loved there.

Aki and Ayumi,
Thank you for the good company.
