Christmas Tree Hunters

We went to cut a Christmas tree at this farm:

Here are the Christmas tree hunters!

Somehow...
soon after Milo took his gloves off, he turned to be a fussy monster...

Anyway, after about 40 minutes search,
we decided to cut this one.

We all got on the tractor.

We had fun with those guys.

Ok...
the tree ended up being a little bigger than we had planned.

The farm has a barn with a skate ramps,
and Milo enjoyed skating more than the hunting...

our first fire of the season

story time

This looks like
"The three boys were reading books together."

This looks like
"The older kid was reading a book and the younger ones were interested in it."

Yeah, this finally looks like
"A father was reading a book for his son."
(or eating snacks together?)

Trash day

On every Wednesday, we pulled our trash can down to the street
so that the city collects them on the next day.
Today, I said to Milo
"Let's bring the trash cans down!"
He showed up with his suitcase and followed me all the way down.
For him, pulling his suitcase was same as me pulling the trash cans!

Once we got the street, we made a u-turn and headed back to our house.
Oh, this was a brief detour.

Milo got a deer head...

a wild creature in the wood

Walking with Milo and Kip always makes our day.
One of the things we missed in Japan the most was hiking in the woods,
so we have tried to go as much hikes as possible now.

Tryon Creek

It finally stopped raining, so it's time to...

GET WET!

Haha.
Go Milo go!

We met those little friends :)

Milo hiked a lot too,

and he fell asleep in the shopping cart later on.

Lucius and Milo

We had Lucius and his parents over for the "Thanksgiving's left over" party at our place.
After we ate lots of yummy food, Lucius and Milo played with the skateboard!

Happy Thanksgiving

As always, we celebrated our Thanksgiving at Cecelia and Paul's.
(Thank you for all preparations and yummy turkey!)

We all love Thanksgiving, because first of all..
it doesn't require the stressful Christmas shopping ;)
and instead it comes with lots of FOODS!

Here is a part of our stomach fillers:

Yuri made those mini quiche appetizer which her cousin Yuko made for her in Japan,

and Silas killed with the most delicious banana pie (on the left end).

Milo was self serving his food.

We thanked everyone and everything, it was the dinner time.

And the more than all...
the best part of Thanksgiving was hanging out with all our family and friends.
We are really glad to have them in our lives
and feel so lucky to have them both in the states and Japan.
We are very happy what we have in our lives now and it's because of their supports.
Thank you for accepting who we are and thank you for being who you are!

All night long, Milo wanted to blow out candles, the long ones and the short ones.

And Milo and Ben got the best dressed award.
