4th of July vacation - 2

Our main event of this vacation was...
to meet up with auntie-Kayoko in between Portland and San Francisco!
Therefore, we planned this vacation at the last minutes
(2 days before our departure...)

Also, Kip found a guy in the chimney, so we invited him to join us...
Luckily, we could rent a super cool yurt for 3 days!
We had expected a hippie-dippie yurt,
but it was actually pretty lux and modern
with an outdoor fire pit.
The yurt was so cozy and had everything we needed.
It had a nice kitchen and a separated bathroom too.
Milo liked it!
The best part was the view from the yurt...
It was just outstanding!
We even got a private creek to relax by...
The creek was a little too fast for Kip to walk across, though...
But, he seemed so happy to be there too.
It was the 4th of July, so, of course, we did a BBQ!!!
Yes, Japanese eat rice balls at a BBQ ;-)
Yoshida family
(Masa, you are beginning to resemble your grandpa, Bruce Lee...)
and Ginger and Soy Sauce
(more likely "Teriyaki" now due to the blood sugar increase..)
Oh...
again...
where was Milo???
Right here!!
