We took an anniversary camping trip to celebrate the 6th year of our marriage.
Our destination was Mt. Hood national forest,
where we met each other a little over 9 years ago...
On the 1st day, we drove and checked some campsite
and decided to settle in this isolated campsite next to a lake.
There was a hiking trail around the lake, so we took a short walk.
Then, we got way too many mosquito bites, so we had to make a Uturn...
Silas bought an amazing (at least for him) gift for himself... a boat!
He blew air into the boat by his mouth (!)
and took off...
Yes, you are right, he was halfway sinking!
30 minutes later, he came back without a fish, soaking wet...
