Nehalem camping

We went to "our campsite" on Nehalem river for camping again.
We like the campsite although we have to carry our gears to the campsite.

Silas did pretty good job packing the wagon.

OK, let's go to the campsite.

As always, we were the only people there!
Quickly we set up our tent and hammock,

we headed to the river.

We were just so happy to be out there.

This was Keena's first camping trip,
but she seemed to enjoy it and looked around.

We could not catch any fish,
so we went back the campsite to start cooking.
Milo helped too.

This time, we brought the hammock,  Chinatsu and Yuko sent us a while ago,
and it was such a great additional gear for our camping!
We all loved it,

especially this guy.
To get in

and to push it.

It's time to make a fire.

We had to hike up/down with all our stuff to get this campsite,
but this is on of the most favorite designated campsites.
It's so isolated and quite,

and there are lots of trees to play with.

Simply being there was what we all wanted and needed!

It was Kip's 9th birthday too.
Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Then, we enjoyed our camp dinner.

After dinner, we tried to find stars and looked at trees.

(what a similar father and son...)

Of course, Milo wanted us to make some popcorn too.

Again, we all had a good time.
