mystery trip day2

Good morning, sunshine!

Good morning, happy girl.

When outside turned this bright (around 9:00,)

Those two had already used up their energy and needed to take a nap.

Milo still had no appetite and super low energy,
and now Keena started acting a little sick too.
Oh boy, to be clear, this was our birthday mystery trip...

While the kids were taking a nap,
Silas helped their farmers and harvested some vegetables for their CSA delivery.
Then Milo woke up, and we all visited their chickens.

Also, we collected lots of eggs.

We also visited the pigs

but they were a little to aggressive to sick Milo.

Around the lunch time,
we picked some leafy vegetables for our lunch and berries.

We stopped by to say hello to them too.

Keena did not want to share her mama with this baby goat at all!

How cute was that!?

The ranch had some different accommodation options,
a farm house cabin, a big meow house, and canvas tents camping area.
This was one of their canvas tents.

We drove up the hill
(we could not hike up with two sick kids)
to see the ranch from the above as well as Mt. Shasta.
What a dream place it was!

Milo took our photo there
(although he did not capture any view from them...)

We came back to the ranch, and checked their field out.

This was their solar house.
They provided and used their own solar energy.

Just being there made us so happy.

Silas and Yuri loved their goat (or simply goats in general),

so we visited them again and again...

Pretty much only on of those ones was photogenic.

At the end, Silas visited his brother.

This ranch had pretty very close to what we would like to have in our future!
